Yin Yoga - Consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. Use of props -blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets.
VinYin Yoga – a combination of Vinyasa yoga (dynamic movements) and Yin yoga (holding stretches for an extended period of time to get deep into the ligaments, tendons, joint capsules and fascia). A nice mix of movement with stretching.
Sometimes referred to as assisted yoga, Thai Bodywork is focused on improving the flow of energy throughout your body. You lie fully clothed on a mat on futon on the ground while a practitioner uses stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility and circulation.
